Samsung Galaxy S21 Sounds and vibration: One UI 5.0
The Sounds and Vibration menu on your Galaxy S21’s Settings will let you manage all the related functions in one place. When you enter this section, you will see three different options to choose from. You can select the one that suits best on your surrounding.
- Sound
- Vibration
- Mute
When you choose “Sound”, you will see the next option arises which is “Vibrate while ringing” and when you select “Mute”, the option “Temporary mute will appear.”
Ringtone:
Samsung offers you a handful of ringtones to choose from, however, if these are not enough for you or you want your favorite music as your ringtone, you can add one by tapping the “+” icon that appears on the top right corner of this page.
You can also adjust the vibration intensity or the type of volume and select different ringtones for two SIMs numbers here.
Notification sound:
This option will let you choose the notification tone. Here also, the company is offered so many options to choose from. It also lets you adjust vibration intensity and type of vibration. In case, you are using two SIMs, you can select different sounds for their notifications.
System sound:
System sound theme: You can choose a sound theme to use for touch interactions, charging, changing the sound mode, Samsung keyboard, Phone keypad, Volume keys, and low battery notifications. The following options are available:

- Fun
- Retro
Sounds: You can select what kind of sounds you want to hear while using select functions:
- Touch interactions

Volume:
This section will let you adjust different sounds of your phone, including:
- Ringtone

- Notifications

- Bixby Voice
Call Vibration:
This option allows you to adjust call vibration intensity on your phone. You also have different vibration types to choose from.
Notification Vibration:
Similar to Call vibration, this option allows you to manage notification vibration intensity and type.
System Vibration:
From here, you can adjust the vibration intensity of the system including:
- Touch interaction
- Dailing Keypad
- Samsung Keyboard
- Charging
- Navigation gestures
- Camera feedback
Vibration intensity:
Allow you to manage the vibration intensity of Calls, Notifications, System, Media, and Incoming calls. You can also choose whether you want your phone to vibrate while incoming calls or not.
Sound quality and effects:
Dolby Atmos: Select a surround sound mode optimized for various types of audio, such as movies, music, and voice. With Dolby Atmos, you can experience moving audio sounds that flow all around you.

Dolby Atmos for gaming: It lets you experience the Dolby Atmos sound optimized for games while playing. Tap the switch to turn this feature on.
Equalizer: You can select an option for a specific music genre and enjoy optimized sound.

UHQ Upscaler: It enhances the sound resolution of music and videos when using wired earphones. When earphones are connected, turn the toggle on for a clearer listening experience.

Separate app sound:
This feature allows your device to shift the media sound from desired apps to external devices while keeping other sounds coming from the mobile device’s built-in speaker.

Improved Light Balance
Light Balance literally means the balance of light. This function adjusts the balance of brightness to the mid-tones in the image. This feature ensures visibility and balances brightness by making very dark areas slightly brighter and very bright areas slightly darker.
When we increase the (+) value, the light balance effect is adjusted to make the overall image brighter and more clear, while we increase the (-) value, the overall image becomes darker such as casting a shadow.
The Light Balance function is currently only available for photo editing and will be soon supported by Video Editor.
Sharpness Improvement
Sharpness is a feature that edits blurry photos to make them sharper. Although it doesn’t seem to have anything to do with light, it does involve the power of light.
Brighten the brightest point of the photo that bringing out the texture, which has the effect of sharpening the photo. The sharpness enhancement applies to photo editing and video editing alike.
New Clarity Feature
Clarity is a new feature of the latest One UI 5.1 update. Alike the Sharpness function, the Clarity function applies the effect of lighting rather than changing it. This function makes bright areas of an image slightly brighter and dark areas slightly darker to enhance the texture or three-dimensional effect of the image. In One UI 5.1, Clarity is only available for photo editing, but the company is planning to release this feature to the Video Editor.
