Google has rolled out a new beta update for the Android Auto app with version 9.1 via Play Store. The new beta update comes with new features and bug fixes to improve the stability of the app.
Android Auto 9.1 Beta update added a new option named Change layout to provide a better usability experience. This new option allows you to change the layout of the split screen in two different ways.
According to the information (via Androidsage), you can change the layout of the split screen of the Android Auto app in these 2 types:
- Media closer to driver
- Navigation closer to driver
You can easily change the layout of Android Auto’s split screen from your smartphone or car display, just go to the app settings.
With Android Auto 8.x stable version, the search giant ditched dependency for rotatory and touchpad from the system, which has been verified by some users with DHU and HUR.
Furthermore, the latest beta update has also brought Coolwalk support for third-party apps such as WhatsApp, Google Messages, etc.
