BREAKING: Samsung Galaxy S20 will get One UI 5.1 update, here is the evidence
The One UI 5.1 update is a big deal for the Galaxy S20 series phones, as we discussed in recent story. And it looks like Samsung is bringing another new One UI upgrade to the Galaxy S20 trio as possible One UI 5.1 test firmware G980FXXUFHWA1 was spotted on the firmware server.
Samsung is testing a new One UI firmware on the Galaxy S20 LTE smartphone in India, which could be the One UI 5.1, spotted by @tarunvats33. The company delivered the Android 13 update to the 2020 flagships in November 2022 and likely to give farewell with One UI 5.1 release in the future.

One UI 5.1 could be the next stable One UI version, based on Android 13. Since the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 devices are expected to run One UI 5.1.1, the Galaxy S23 series reportedly runs One UI 5.1. Shortly after launching, the company will expand this new software to more older Galaxies.

Over the One UI 5.0, the upcoming One UI 5.1 will hopefully bring improvements in the system performance and stability. The animations part still needs some optimization, while, some features are needed with Android 13 but One UI 5.0 misses them.
At the SDC 2022, Samsung showcased various new features and personalization tools. Due to unknown reasons, all of those features introduced at the event are not accessible in the One UI 5.0 update. Therefore, we are eagerly waiting for the One UI 5.1 for new lockscreen tools, better performance.
The South Korean tech giant shipped the Galaxy S20 series with Android 10-based One UI 2.1 software. Following its commitment, the company provided three major OS upgrades, however, the One UI 5.1 will be cherry on the cake. As testing begins for One UI 5.1, the S20 series is almost confirmed for another One UI upgrade.
