It’s February and Samsung’s February 2022 Android security updates have reached many users. However, there are still some devices that haven’t yet received the January 2022 updates. In a recent development, Samsung is delivering the January 2022 security updates for Galaxy A11, A31, and A51 5G users.

Samsung’s January 2022 update fixes numerous privacy and security-related vulnerabilities including 2 critical, 36 high, and 5 moderate levels of CVEs for the device’s performance enhancement. In addition, it also improves system security and stability.

  • Regions: Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam.

Galaxy A31 January 2022 update:

  • Update version: A315FXXU1CVA1
  • Regions: Afghanistan, the Caucasus region, Egypt, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Libya, Nigeria, Pakistan, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, the UAE, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.

Galaxy A51 January 2022 update:

  • Update version: A516BXXU5CUL9
  • Regions: Europe, Taiwan, and the UK

You can now install the January 2022 security update on your smartphone manually. Go to Setting >> System updates >> Download and install, check for available updates and finally click on Download now and then restart to experience the latest changes.
