It’s time for Android 13 but some old Samsung phones getting Android 12 (One UI 4.1) update
Samsung has started to roll out the new Android 13-based One UI 5.0 updates for Galaxy smartphones and tablets all over the world. Meanwhile, some old Samsung phones have now started installing a year-old Android 12 update in the US.
The Korean company is releasing the Android 12-based One UI 4.1 update for the carrier-locked Galaxy A01 and Galaxy A02s smartphone users in the US. The latest update installs some great features for the devices as well as unlocks some advanced customization possibilities.

The most notable feature that Samsung’s Android 12 update brings is a Material You-based Color Palette that lets you completely revamp the look of your device with the theme based on your phone’s wallpaper.
It further brings Grammarly-powered Samsung Keyboard to ensure that you won’t make any typing mistakes, a new Live Sharing feature that lets you share your screen through video calls and enhanced quick share to lets you edit and share images with more ease.
The update also enriches the photo editor which not only removes the distractions in the background but also shadows that are thrown on the subject or reflections on windows. At the same time, there are many new camera features and new functions for various Samsung One UI apps and services.
Last but not least, there old Samsung phones are getting the Android 12-based One UI 4.1 update with November 2022 Android security patch that fixes around 60 privacy and security-related issues and vulnerabilities.
