Samsung is expanding the Galaxy S21 May 2022 security update in France. As the company declared earlier, the update comes with various Galaxy S22 camera features to take your photography experience to the next level.
According to the changelog, the update has Improved Night portraits, Improved/supported auto framing function, Improved video call effect, Support for auto framing effects, and Improved App Store Camera app quality.
Additionally, it upgrades a total of 6 stock apps in order to enhance the overall device performance and maintain user experience.

Samsung has started rolling out the May 2022 Android security patch update for the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra smartphone users in the United Kingdom. Along with improved security and stability, the update also comes with various camera improvements.
Launched a couple of months back, the Samsung Galaxy S22 series has multiple new and improved camera features that let you capture advanced-level pictures and videos. Recently, the Korean tech giant began releasing these features to its older flagships and the Galaxy S21 is one of them.
Samsung Galaxy S21 new Camera Features
Going by the changelog, the fresh Galaxy S21 update enhances the Night portrait mode that allows you to capture bright portraits in low-light environments. You can even take pictures outside when it is dark through the rear as well as the front lens.
The update further brings support for Auto framing in video mode and some video call apps. This detects and tracks up to 10 people and automatically adjusts the camera focus, so your camera captures all of them clearly.
Last but not the least, the update changelog also mentions improvements in the quality of pictures taken with social or camera apps downloaded from the application store such as Instagram, Snapchat, etc.
Moving on, the May 2022 security update for Samsung Galaxy S21 5G is reaching UK users with One UI build number G991BXXU5CVDD. While the Galaxy S21+ and S21 Ultra users can identify it through the firmware version G996BXXU5CVDD and G998BXXU5CVDD.

For security enhancement, the Korean firm has fixed over 60 related issues and exposures. These include 5 Critical and 35 High levels of CVEs from Google’s Android operating system and 23 Galaxy-specific SVEs that were affecting One UI apps and services.
Besides these, Samsung does not bring any notable new features or changes with this update. Both these foldables recently grabbed the big One UI 5.1 update and their another feature-rich One UI 5.1.1 software is on the way.
Last year, Samsung brought the Android 12L-based One UI 4.1.1 software with a lot of new features to make large-screen easy to use. A similar update is coming this year as well but there is no sign of Android 13L so far. It seems like One UI 5.1.1 will also rely on Android 13.
Moreover, the company is expected to introduce the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 smartphones with Android 13-based One UI 5.1.1 software out of the box. The next-gen foldable phones may debut in August this year, whereas the One UI 5.1.1 may be available for older Galaxy devices a month later of launch.
