Samsung Galaxy A31 and Galaxy M51 getting One UI 2.5 update
Currently, the One UI 2.5 is the latest stable version of Samsung’s custom skin. Following its release along with the Galaxy Note 20 series, this version of the One UI has already been received by several flagships and mid-range devices of Samsung.
Now, many impressive features with the One UI 2.5 update is rolling out to the Galaxy A31 and Galaxy M51 phones. The Galaxy A31 getting this update in Korea while the Galaxy M51 started receiving the One UI 2.5 from some international markets including Russia.

Samsung One UI 2.5 for Galaxy A31 and Galaxy M51 adds some exciting new features to increase the user’s experience. After installing this update, the devices will get the support of Samsung DeX for Wireless connection with TVs through Wi-Fi Direct and improvements for Wi-Fi settings, always-on display, inbuilt keyboard app, camera, and some other system functions.
One UI 2.5 update adds a new setting to the Wi-Fi functions that will show the signal strength like Very Fast, Fast, Normal, or Slow. The bitmoji stickers are now supported with the Always On Display feature. The latest software update also provides stability improvements to the Camera for a better image capturing and video shooting experience.
To increase the security and keep your device secure against threats and CVEs, Samsung is also sending the November 2020 security patch.
What about upcoming updates:
As you know, the Galaxy A31 and M51 launched with Android 10 out of the box. So both of these phones will receive two major Android OS upgrade supports. The first major update of Android 11 with One UI 3.0 is on the way and will hit your devices in the coming future.
Samsung has already started the beta testing of the upcoming version of One UI, One UI 3.0 for several eligible smartphones. The Galaxy S20 series smartphones are listed in the top position to collect the One UI 3.0 update.
