Samsung Galaxy S22 Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Exynos 2200 variant availability!
Samsung has recently unveiled the Galaxy S22 series smartphones, marking a major change in its flagship portfolio by integrating the Galaxy S and Galaxy Note series. Like every year Samsung has made hardware changes than the previous generation to Galaxy S22 series, the performance gets a big boost with the new 4nm chipset.
As in previous years, Samsung maintains its dual-chipset approach to its flagship Galaxy S22 series and sells flagship devices with different chipsets by region.
So, if you are wondering if Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Exynos 2200 will be available for Samsung Galaxy S22 series phones in your area, you are in luck. Galaxy S22 series chipset distribution details have just been revealed.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Exynos 2200 variant availability!
Those Galaxy users are living in the US already know that Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is included. This is not the only area where SOC is located, not even close. Apart from North America in general, South Korea, Australia, India, South Africa and the United Arab Emirates are getting that chip.
Only Europe and the United Kingdom are on the corner of the Exynos 2200. Conditions have changed a lot compared to previous years. The Exynos version ranks first in almost every region except the US and South Korea.
Samsung’s Exynos flagship SoCs are generally lower than Qualcomm. It’s too early to tell what the situation will be this year, but you have it. Both chips are very powerful on paper, however, both are made using the 4nm process.
These two chips are actually octa-core SoCs with Cortex-X2 performance cores, three Cortex-A710 cores and four Cortex-A510 cores. Needless to say, they come with different GPUs and many other hardware differences.
It remains to be seen how two different SoCs will be found this time around. The Galaxy S22 series was officially launched two days ago, so it is too early to make any conclusions in this regard.
