Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4 to use Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ chip
Samsung to probably launch the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 smartphones in August this year. The smartphones will come with some of the most latest and advanced technologies, including the processor.
Recently, a reliable tipster Ice Universe confirmed that the two upcoming Samsung foldable will use Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ chipset. Well, this processor hasn’t been launched thus there’s not much information about it. However, reports claim that it will be built on TSMC’s 4nm process.

Further, Qualcomm was said to introduce the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ processor this month with actual smartphones powered by it expected by June. But famous Chinese vlogger DigitalChatStation unveiled that the company had shifted its launch to the second half of this year due to Covid circumstances in China.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 will be the first devices to use the next-generation flagship Snapdragon chipset. It is suspected that the Plus edition will be more efficient than the regular version.
Besides, there’s not much information about the two forthcoming Samsung foldable so far. Meanwhile, leaks reveal that the two devices will feature powerful batteries and an enhanced camera. While the Z Fold 4 reportedly has a bigger display size, Z Flip 4 features a larger rear display and at cheaper pricing.
