Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, Fold 3 One UI 5.0 update reaches Canada [Android 13]

There is good news for customers using Samsung’s foldable smartphone in Canada. The Korean company has started rolling out the major Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Fold 3 in your country Canada.

Both devices are picking up the latest software update with a stack of new features and countless improvements. The company has also given its One UI skin a minor refresh with bolder app icons and smoother animations. There are new customization options that let you add a more personal touch to your phone.

This update installs 16 Color palettes and basic color options to make it easy to find the right theme for your phone. In addition, the company brings users more wallpaper choices with the improved Wallpaper and Style section.

The home screen is receiving a new stack widgets feature to let you create a group of widgets by just dragging and dropping one, the notification panel is getting bigger notification icons so that you easily identify the app, and the Settings page is receiving three new menus: Connected devices, Modes and Routines, and Security and privacy to let you manage all related setting with more convienence.

Other than these, the update further comes with Extract text from images, Per-app language, Notification permissions, the ability to turn off RAM Plus, Camera Watermark, new Good Lock modules, two new swipe gestures for easier multitasking, and much more.

Aside from these, you will also find something new almost everywhere, including the Gallery, Samsung Keyboard, Samsung Internet, Bixby Routines, Calendar, Notifications, and other apps and services.

Along with all the goodies that are parts of Google’s Android 13 and Samsung’s One UI 5.0, the latest update for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Fold 3 also brings security improvements. The devices are getting the November security patch that fixes over 60 vulnerabilities.
