Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4, Flip 3 receives January 2023 security update

Samsung is rolling out the latest January 2023 Android security patch update for its two generations of clamshell foldables smartphones – Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 with new improvements.

This update is rolling out gradually. While the Flip 3’s January 2023 software update is live in Europe, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 is getting the update in Taiwan. You can recognize these updates through One UI build version F711BXXS3DWA3 and F7210ZSS1BWA2, sequentially.

Samsung is improving the security and stability of your Galaxy device with the latest software update. It ensures that your files and data are kept safe on your phone and delivers seamless functionality over your device.

Besides these, the company also resolves a bunch of harmful vulnerabilities and exposures to further increase your device’s security and users’ privacy. These include 52 CVEs and 20 SVEs from Google and Samsung.

Besides these, there is nothing that the official changelog mentions. However, you might notice some other optimizations and improvements after you install the update on your phone.
