Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 has started collecting its new software update and becoming the latest recipient of the January 2023 Android security patch that brings a performance boost to Galaxy devices.

While it’s just a minor software update that only brings system security and stability enhancements to maintain the users’ experience, the big and feature-rich One UI 5.1 update is coming soon to the devices. It could be the next software update for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 smartphones that may arrive in late February.

Anyways, the current January 2023 software update for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 addresses a handful of privacy and security-related issues and vulnerabilities to enhance the overall system functionality.

As per the official support page, these fixes includes 52 CVE items from Google’s Android OS that were causing data leak and other problems. At the same time, the update also resolves 20 SVEs that were harming various One UI apps and services.

As usual, the update is rolling out in a staged manner. Currently, it is only available for Fold 3 customers living in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, and Uruguay. However, the company should not take much time to spread it to more users throughout the globe.

Moreover, Samsung is releasing the January 2023 patch for Galaxy Z Fold 3 with the One UI build version F926BXXS2DWA3. You can now check its availability on your phone through its Settings and then visiting the Software update section.
