Samsung‘s One UI 3.1 introduced with the Galaxy S21 series which brings new smart features that enhance everyday life, so you can get even more out of your Galaxy device. The Single Take was introduced in the One UI 3.0 but with the latest One UI 3.1, it gets a decent upgrade and is now known as Single Take 2.0. This upgraded version allows users to create more than 14 different individual compositions from a single video clip including ranging from a “golden” best shot, a black-and-white photo, and a filtered still, to a boomerang-style video, a slow-motion video, and several shots created using filters and at different video speeds.

However, this camera feature is not available to every Galaxy device as it needs stronger hardware to pull out the camera results in more than 14 styles and formats. But we can expect that with the future optimization in the software, it may be available to more mid-range Galaxy phones.

- From Camera, swipe to Single take.
- Tap 10s and select a timer option.
- Tap Record and pan around the scene to capture multiple angles and views.
- Thee videos and images will be saved as a single entry in the Gallery.

Until the One UI 5.0, there’s no way to customize the folder of saved screenshots. Though, a bit late, Samsung officially brought the ability to change the folder where screenshots and screen recordings are saved, thanks to the new One UI 5.1 update.
Samsung’s One UI saves screenshots and screen recordings in the DCIM folder by default. Most users wanted the ability to customize the screenshots storage folder, and the new One UI 5.1 update makes it possible on Galaxy devices. - Open the Apps Screen, visit System Settings, followed by Advanced features
- Beside the Smart suggestions, you should see the Screenshots and screen recorder tab, tap on it
- For Screenshots,
- Tap the “Save screenshots in” option
- For the Screen recorder,
- Tap the “Screen recordings in” option
By changing the location, you can prevent the Google Photos app from backing up screenshots and screen recordings. This is quite useful as screenshots will no longer occupy the storage of Google Photos cloud storage. However, separating them also enhances access to the DCIM folder for important images.

Simply turn on the toggle for “Multi control” and connect your phone to the laptop. You can now control your mobile device through the big screen, keyboard, and mouse on your laptop.
