As Samsung is all set to reveal the Galaxy S23 series on February 1st, more rumors have started to appear online. The company has reportedly replaced the front camera of the Galaxy S23 Ultra with a 12MP sensor. However, the megapixel downgrade may not impact performance.
According to tipster AhmedQwaider, the Galaxy S23 series phones use a 12MP front camera. Pro Mode, which was earlier expanded to all camera lenses of select phones, is likely to come pre-loaded for the front camera of the upcoming devices.

The tipster pointed out that the megapixel count of Galaxy S23 Ultra’s front camera is low (S22 Ultra uses 40MP front camera), but the photo and video quality will be improved, thanks to “Dual Pixel” technology. As said, this feature will produce the best picture in the lowest possible light.
