Samsung Galaxy S21 series smartphones have started testing another One UI 5.1 version. New builds of the Galaxy S21 series smartphones appeared on the checkfirm that hints major One UI version testing is going on.

Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphones are testing One UI 5.1 with firmware versions G991NKSU3EWA8, G996NKSU3EWA8, and G998NKSU3EWA8 respectively in Korea.

Samsung has officially announced to launch of the Galaxy S23 series phones on February 1. Along with this, the company will also introduce the new One UI 5.1 software with additional features. Meanwhile, ahead of the release, various Galaxy phones have already started testing the One UI 5.1 software internally and now the Samsung Galaxy S21 series has also joined the party.
Recently, the One UI 5.1 test builds for all three Galaxy S21 series phones – S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra have appeared on the CheckFirm application. This internal testing suggets that the corresponding device users will not have to wait for too long to get access to the new software.
Although the CheckFirm application does not reveal the exact timeline for the update to release. It is expected that following the Galaxy S23 launch, Samsung will start expanding the One UI 5.1 software for more Galaxy phones and tablets in mid to late February, and Galaxy S21 devices could be among the first phones to grab it.

Furthermore, the latest information via the app suggets that Samsung is testing the One UI 5.1 software on Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra phones with model numbers G991NKSU3DVL2, G996NKSU3DVL2, G996NKSU3DVL2, respectively. It’s worth mentioning that the new software is testing in South Korea at the present time.
One UI 5.1 features:
Samsung’s One UI 5.1 software will be based on the Android 13 operating system. It’s an upgraded version of the current One UI 5.0 software that will come with more features and further improvements.
The company had already left some features to launch with One UI 5.1. These include Multi-user profiles, Bixby text calls in more languages, a Battery widget, some more Dynamic theme improvements, and more.
