Samsung is all set to introduce the new One UI 5.1 software with the Galaxy S23 series on February 1. Ahead of this, the company is internally experimenting with the new version on various Galaxy smartphones. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S21 FE 5G is the latest Samsung smartphone that has begun testing the One UI 5.1 software so that users won’t face unstable features after installing it.

As spotted by the CheckFirm application, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE smartphone is testing One UI 5.1 update with build version G990BXXU2EWA8. The testing is currently underway in European markets as the CSC code revealed through the app is “EUX” which belongs to Europe.

Other than this, the CheckFirm app does not reveal anything about the update nor it mentions when the internal testing will be completed and the company will release the update for the customers. However, since the testing is already underway, we can expect an early update.

I am eagerly waiting for Galaxy S21 FE’s One UI 5.1 upgrade:

I use Samsung’s Galaxy S21 FE smartphone as my daily driver. Its first major upgrade – Android 13-based One UI 5.1 truly made my phone awesome. Now as the One 5.1 software is coming, I am eagerly waiting for this update to be available for my S21 FE so that I can get hands-on with more advanced features.

What I am most looking forward to is the Bixby text call feature in the English language that will allow users to find out who’s calling and why before answering the call. This feature is currently limited to the Korean language but Samsung said to add more language support with One UI 5.1.

Aside from this, Samsung will re-install the Multi-user feature for Galaxy devices. It will bring new changes to the Color Palette, add new Battery Widgets, and much more.
