Here’s how One UI 5.1 Lock screen looks and works on latest Samsung flagship
Samsung has officially introduced Galaxy S23 smartphones with the new One UI 5.1 software. This software will bring a lot of new features to Galaxy devices. Some of such new One UI 5.1 features and changes are visible on the Lock Screen.
The Korean software already lets you play with different kinds of lock screen notification settings, such as show or hide content, Alert and Silent notification, and others. Meanwhile, the new One UI 5.1 software installs a new “Show content when unlocked” option to the Lock screen notification settings.

This is a toggle (spotted by V3trox360) that when enabled will show you hidden information content when your Galaxy smartphone detects your face. As you can see in the video in the below-mentioned tweet, the Galaxy S23 smartphone is automatically showing the hidden notification content as soon as the face of the user gets recognized.

The ‘Show content when unlocked’ option will come in very handy when you want to hide your notification content on the lock screen so that no one can penetrate your privacy, at the same time, want to view them without making an effort to unlock your phone and open notification panel.
To use this feature on your One UI 5.1 smartphone of Galaxy S23, all you need to do it open your phone’s “Settings” and enter the “Notifications” section. Now tap on the “Lock screen notification” option and you will see a new “Show content when unlocked” toggle. Just turn it on and it’s done!
