One UI 5.1
Samsung Galaxy A53 5G’s One UI 5.1 update makes it cool!
Seems like, Samsung’s on a mission to deploy the One UI 5.1 update on all of its mid-ranger Galaxy devices today. Just recently, the Galaxy A33 5G got access to the new update and now its elder brother – Galaxy A53 5G is picking up the One UI 5.1 features.

According to the update changelog, the One UI 5.1 update for the Galaxy A53 5G smartphone brings a powerful search function to the Gallery app. Now, you can search by entering multiple name tags as well as a new function allows you to gather images by tapping the face icon.
Similar to the Galaxy S23, Remaster feature now lets you enhance the GIF files too, which was accessible for just photos. Thanks to AI code changes, the reflections and shadows are now getting removed automatically to deliver a better photography experience on Galaxy.
For your information, the One UI 5.1 release bears software version A536NKSU4CWB3 and is currently available in South Korea. Gradually, the company will expand the reach of One UI 5.1 OTA for Galaxy A53 and A33 consumers outside the Korean market.
Pay attention, the Galaxy A53’s One UI 5.1 update weighs 1380MB, which is about 500MB less than the Galaxy S22’s firmware. The difference in update package size is responsible for feature availability limitations and some features that arrived on flagships may not be available on A series models.
One UI 5.1 for flagship Galaxies brings a handful of new home screen widgets, smoother animations, and enhanced visual effects. The Expert RAW camera app is not supported on A53 so there’s no chance of integration in the stock camera app itself.
