Samsung Galaxy A53 5G in Canada receives One UI 5.0 update [Android 13]

Samsung introduced the new One UI 5.0 software at the Samsung Developer Conference on October 12. Initially, this major update was released for the Galaxy S22 series, and later, several models joined the party. Samsung is now rolling out One UI 5.0 update for Galaxy A53 5G users in Canada.

Users in Canada can identify the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update for their Galaxy A53 5G smartphone via PDA build number A536WVLU3BVK3. The first major firmware upgrade for this device brings plenty of new features and levels up the security and privacy aspects.

One UI 5 is capable of grabbing text from any image including the camera viewfinder in realtime. It makes users happy as they are no longer required to type something from an image to share with someone. You just need to tap the “T” icon on image or camera interface and that’s it!

Hearing consumer feedback, the company has also added the ability to turn off RAM Plus. This change prevents the smartphone from eating its internal storage, however, you can also extend RAM using options including 2GB, 4GB, 6GB and 8GB.

Apart from this, Samsung’s Android 13 update introduces new visual effects as well as improved system animations so you can have a natural feel while using a Galaxy. Themed App Icons can now be applied to all categories of compatible apps including Samsung, Google and third-party devs.

Vast collection of Color Palette makes it easier to optimize the user interface of your device, and the additional Color choices extend possibilities. For my S22 Ultra, I picked the first wallpaper that arrived in Graphical section, but, I don’t use Color Palette or themed app icons.
