How to update

Update [Jan 20]: Samsung has now released the most-awaited Android 13-based One UI 5.0 software for the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2020 model. As of now, the availability is limited to the LTE variant with the latest firmware version – P615XXU4FWA5.

Initial story [Dec 7]: Samsung has already updated the Galaxy Tab S8 and Galaxy Tab S7 lineups with Android 13 OS. Now, the company is rolling out the Stable One UI 5.0 for the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite tablets with a new firmware update. Notably, the update is currently releasing in France.

According to the information, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite tablet users have begun grabbing the major Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update. Users in France and other European markets can identify the package via build version P619XXU1BVK6, as per availability.

Earlier, the Korean tech giant delivered the Android 12L-based One UI 4.1.1 upgrade for its tablet lineup, optimizing the system’s performance and usability. One step ahead, the company is now bringing new features, improved visual effects and a lot more with Android 13.

Now once again, the South Korean tech giant in collaboration with French internet service provider ‘Free’, starting a new service via the OQEE app. This new service will be delivering more than 500 live channels to the smart TVs.

Moreover, the application will be giving Freebox Pop and Freebox Delta users, access to 100 hours of live TV channels including paid OTT content from Netflix, Prime Video, CANAL Plus, and Disney Plus, without any TV box.

How to use the OQEE app service in Samsung smart TVs?

According to Samsung France, the OQEE app will be installed automatically on compatible Samsung smart TVs and you just have to launch the app and connect. However, the application is only supported on TVs which were released in 2018 and later as long as they run Tizen 4.0 or higher.

Currently, the OQEE app streaming service is restricted to France but we can expect that the company will provide various content-rich services just like this, to other regions also.
