Google launches Android 13

Google has begun the Stable Android 13 update rollout for all the eligible Pixel smartphones as well as pushing the source to AOSP. The company has officially confirmed that it’s pushing the Android 13 source to AOSP and releasing the next version of Android, with themed app icons, per-app languages, and more.

Through its Twitter post, Google highlighted a handful of key features of the new Android 13 operating system which includes themed app icons, and per-app languages. The first feature is related to personalization, while the second one is useful for multilingual people.

Coming to Samsung, later this year

Since the internet giant started the Stable Android 13 rollout for Pixel devices today, it will be available for non-Pixel devices as well, from Samsung Galaxy, Asus, HMD (Nokia phones), iQOO, Motorola, OnePlus, Oppo, Realme, Sharp, Sony, Tecno, vivo, Xiaomi and more later this year.

Consumers who have enrolled in the Android 13 Beta program are the first to receive the Stable update, however, they will continue on the Beta channel, so Google can deliver feature drops in the future. The new OS comes with a slew of new features and improvements to take your phone’s capabilities to the next level.
