Samsung Galaxy M62 starts receiving new features with One UI 5.1

Users of Samsung‘s Galaxy M series smartphones need not wait any longer for the major One UI 5.1 update as the company has made an auspicious start with the Samsung Galaxy M62 phone.

Samsung has finally started kicking off the One UI 5.1 update based on Android 13 for the M series smartphone – Galaxy M62. The new update comes with several useful and interesting features to provide a next-level Galaxy experience.

One UI 5.1 update for Galaxy M62 is currently available in Malaysia and the company will soon expand this update soon. It is a gradual rollout so it may take some hours/days to reach all models.

With Galaxy M62, the company has started rolling out One UI 5.1 update for M series devices so we can expect other eligible M series devices will soon get this major update.

You can download and install the latest update, just need to open your smartphone’s Settings >> Software Update >> Download and install.

One UI 5.1 Update for Galaxy M62

One UI 5.1 delivers an easier way to choose selfie color tones, improved search in the Gallery app, Shared Family Album, and an easy way to view and edit information of image and video files.

You can easily minimize apps or switch to full screen by dragging the corners of the app’s window. In split-screen multitasking mode, frequently used apps are displayed first.

The newest version of One UI adds widgets for battery charge levels of the phone and connected accessories. The Weather app also gets a new dynamic widget to show all the relevant info in the first and hourly precipitation information.

Furthermore, you can add a new contacts widget to easily access four contacts directly from the home screen of your smartphone. You can now mask AR emojis on up to three faces in an image simultaneously by using the AR Emoji feature.
