Samsung Galaxy A52 4G starts getting One UI 5.1 alongside A73 and M53 in India

Samsung has started to roll out the One UI 5.1 update for Galaxy A52 4G, Galaxy A73, and Galaxy M53 smartphones in India. This update unlocks a handful of new features for the customers as well as brings multiple improvements and changes.

Meanwhile, for users’ privacy enhancement, the company is also installing the February 2023 Android security patch that addresses over 50 vulnerabilities and exposures.

One UI 5.1 features:

One UI 5.1 is faster, smoother, and more reliable than the One UI 5.0 software. Although it does not have major user interface changes, the company has added plenty of new features to revamp the customers’ experience.

To begin with, the new software carries a new Battery Widget that shows your phone and connected Bluetooth device battery status at a glance. Whereas the Dynamic Weather widget provides a summary of the current weather conditions and the improved Smart Suggestion Widget now suggets a Spotify playlist based on your activities.

The Camera and Gallery apps are also getting various major upgrades. The company makes it easy to change the color tone of selfies through the Effects button on the side of the screen. Whereas, the Gallery app is getting enhanced picture editing tools, improved handling, a convenient information display, and easier picture sharing and searching capabilities.

Samsung further brings the English language to the Bixby Text Call feature so that customers can use it worldwide. The Modes section now lets you set different wallpapers on the lock screen and the home screen depending on your current activities, such as work, sports, etc.

On the other side, the update makes it easier to maximize or minimize windows without opening the options with improved Samsung DeX. Samsung Internet is also optimized with the integration of continuing browsing on another device feature.
