One UI 5.1
One UI 5.1 should breathe new life into Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite and Note 10 Lite
Samsung significantly changed its software distribution strategy for x.1 iteration. The most anticipated One UI 5.1 has not yet rolled out for the Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy Note 10 Lite, and Samsung reportedly has no plans to release it further.

The S10 Lite and Note 10 Lite are affordable variants of the Galaxy S10 and Note 10 series, respectively. Samsung fulfilled its promise by rolling out the major Android 13 last year. However, the decision to not share the incremental feature drop is disappointing for consumers.
One UI 5.1 update is packed with some cold new features, improved visual effects, and better performance. Samsung consumers are quite happy with the One UI 5.1 firmware as it brought select new features from the Galaxy S23 series and more are on the way.
The battery widgets that Samsung showcased during the One UI 5.0 launch are included in the One UI 5.1 firmware. Since Samsung is not bringing One UI 5.1 update to the Galaxy S10 Lite and Note 10 Lite, the battery widgets may remain exclusive to older models until the S20 series.
We hope Samsung to bring the One UI 5.1 update to the S10 Lite and Note 10 Lite but there’s no possibility. CheckFirm, which is well known to catch unreleased and testing Samsung firmware builds has not yet spotted any One UI test build for both devices.
It indicates the phones will have to spend their remaining life on the Android 13-based One UI 5.0. From the launch date to four years, the company is committed to bringing regular security updates, hence, you may expect another year of patch update support.
Samsung should consider bringing the One UI 5.1 firmware to the Lite variants of the S10 and Note 10 lineups. The devices are not so affordable at the time of launch, as compared to the Galaxy A52. A handful of mid-range phones got access to One UI 5.1, which also disappoints the Lite model’s consumers.
