Samsung offers a variety of ways to keep your kids safe from Internet crap, such as Kids mode, Parental control, and others. Meanwhile, the new One UI 5.1 update makes it even safer, letting you create a separate Samsung Account for kids.

Usually, kids don’t have a personal smartphones, they use the phone of their parents. But adults may have sensitive data or important/work-related files on their phones that they do not want their child to see or damage. In this case, a separate Samsung Account for your kid will be the best solution.

You can create an individual Samsung Account for your child on your Samsung smartphone so that when they use your phone, they won’t reach your sensitive files and data.

It’s worth mentioning that you can only create a separate Samsung Account for kids on a Galaxy smartphone running One UI 5.1 software. If you have already installed the fresh software, here is a trick on how you can create an account for your child separately.

How to create separate Samsung Account for Kids:

First of all, you need to visit the “Settings” of your phone and enter the “Samsung Accounts” section. Now go to its “Family” tab and tap “Add family“.

Now tap on “Create a child account” and agree to the terms and conditions. After a parent or guardian authentication, enter your child’s information. Finally, verify the kid’s email and it’s done.
