Post-One UI 5 debut, Samsung introduced the RegiStar app, as a new member of the Good Lock customization suite. The app allows you to revamp select system settings interface and unlock experimental features that are restricted by One UI such as the back tap. You can download the Samsung RegiStar app through Galaxy Store.

According to Samsung, Good Lock suite’s RegiStar app allows you to conveniently configure the Settings app and press the side key, tap the back, or press the screen strongly to quickly launch useful features. Notably, these features are not officially available for Galaxy Note models.

Using the RegiStar plugin in your compatible Galaxy device, you can re-configure the menu of the Settings home screen, change order, hide and manage groups, set the method of displaying the Samsung account on the Settings home screen, search settings change history and change notification settings.

Besides, the RegiStar app makes it possible to activate features by tapping the back of the device (available on Galaxy S/ Flip phones only), run features by long-pressing the side key, and run features by pressing the screen strongly on the Galaxy Z Fold 4.

Since the company released the RegiStar app in early November, it received the December 2022 update as well. The first update added plenty of new features and improved usability. However, Samsung will continue to deliver new version updates to the RegiStar app, which you can download from the links below.
