Samsung serves One UI 5.1 update to Galaxy A53 users in India

The awaited Samsung Galaxy A53 One UI 5.1 update is now available to download in India. Identified with One UI built version A536EXXU5CWB4, the new update brings a bundle of new features and improvements for the customers.

It carries multiple features from Samsung’s latest Galaxy S23 smartphone to take the Galaxy experience to next level. On the other side, it also installs the February 2023 Android security patch for system security and stability enhancement.

If you are using a Samsung Galaxy A53 smartphone in India, you can now visit your phone’s Software update section through Settings and tap the Download and install option to get access to One UI 5.1 update and its new features and goodies.

It is true, the Samsung Galaxy A53 smartphone will get three more major Android operating system updates. The device will get updated to Android 16, and after this, it will also get security patch updates for a year.

That is because of the change in Samsung’s software update policy last year, which promised to deliver four major Android updates to the new flagship phones and select Galaxy A series phones. The Galaxy A53 is lucky enough to grab this opportunity.

One UI 5.1 features:

The One UI 5.1 changelog is not as big as the One UI 5.0 but there is still a lot to talk about. It carries a bunch of advanced features, so many meaningful changes, and multiple improvements over the previous software.

The stock Camera gets a new Effects button that lets the customers change the color tone of selfies. The Gallery app is getting a convenient information display, a new Common family album for easier sharing, more powerful searches, and more.

In addition, the One UI 5.1 update installs a new Battery Widget to show your phone and all connected device battery status at a glance, a Dynamix Battery widget that shows all information related to current weather, and the improved Smart Suggestion widget that now recommends a Spotify playlist.

Aside from these, the Bixby Text call feature is now available in the English language, the Samsung Internet app now supports ‘continue using app on other devices’ feature, Modes and Routines now lets you set different wallpaper based on your activities, and much more.
