March 2023 security update comes as the first post-One UI 5.1 firmware for the “carrier-unlocked” Samsung Galaxy Note20 series. It brings the latest Android and One UI (SMR) patches released in March in order to ensure the best system reliability on Galaxy devices. You can check the software versions, below:

  • Note 20 Ultra – N986U1UES3HWB7

Samsung’s Galaxy Note 20 smartphone lineup is no longer eligible for major Android and One UI upgrades. The One UI 5.1 is the last feature-rich update released by Samsung as the One UI 5.1.1 will be foldable-centric. Still, the company is committed to delivering another year of regular security updates.

The March 2023 Android plus One UI security patch brings fixes for several CVEs and SVEs. More specifically, the company brings additional enhancements and bug fixes for problems in Bluetooth, function driver, Galaxy Themes, Samsung Keyboard, System UI, and so on.
