Samsung has kicked off a new update with March 2023 security patch for carrier-locked Galaxy S21 series in the US. The new update improves the system security and stability of the device by installing the latest Android patch.

The latest update for Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus, and Galaxy S21 Ultra users can identify the latest update via One UI build version G991USQS5EWB3, G996USQS5EWB3, and G998USQS5EWB3 respectively.

March 2023 security update is currently rolling out for locked Samsung Galaxy S21 smartphones in the US while the company already rolled out this update for International variants.

According to the official details, Samsung’s March 2023 patch fixes a bundle of issues that are related to Calls, Samsung Keyboard, System UI, Galaxy Themes, Bluetooth, and more. The company wants to deliver a bug-free and better experience through this update.

It is worth mentioning that Samsung officially mentioned an important vulnerability fix for Galaxy S21 Exynos models via March 2023 security patch details. On Samsung Exynos models, an issue allowing incorrect handling of the unencrypted message was reported in November last year.

In case your phone has not yet sent you an update notification, you can check it manually through the Settings app. Just head over to the Software update section and tap on the Download and install option. If you received the update then follow the on-screen instruction to install the latest update.
