We are still months away from the launch of the new Galaxy foldable smartphones. But early leaks of the devices have already started surfing online. A recent leak hints at the storage options of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 phones.

According Sammobile’s exclusive report, the fifth-gen Galaxy foldable will feature the same storage options as their respective predecessors, there’s nothing new to talk about.

The information reveals that the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will come in three storage variants, such as 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB, which are the same as the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the recently launched Galaxy S23 Ultra.

On the other side, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 will feature 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage options, just like the Galaxy Z Flip 4, and the standard Galaxy S23 smartphone.

It’s worth mentioning that the Flip 5’s 128GB storage model will likely use a UFS 3.1 chip and the other two models will use the new UFS 4.0 specification.

The report further suggests that the UFS 4.0 chips have an impressive set of specifications, however, the UFS 3.1 storage is also not lacking and is fast enough for use in flagship smartphones.

Other than this storage information about the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 phones, the latest report does not reveal anything else. However, some earlier leaks and rumors have told major cover screen improvements for the Flip 5 phone.

On the other hand, the design of the Fold 5 seems to be the same as that of Fold 4. Maybe, the company will bring a camera setup similar to the Galaxy S23, but currently, there’s no information about it.
