DXOMARK reports that the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra turned in an excellent overall display performance, showing some marked improvements over its predecessor. The device provides the best user experience for video, with a refresh rate that adapts itself to the frame rate of the content being played.

Moreover, the phone came close to the very best devices for readability. It has an “Extra Brightness” feature that allows a manual boost to the maximum brightness, thus offering good outdoor readability.

When it comes to color, the new smartphone is less saturated compared to its predecessor. Under sunlight, colorful content lacks nuances.

On the other side, the phone made strong improvements, achieving greater smoothness and accuracy. It also delivered good progress in motion control but it remained essentially at the same level as the Galaxy S22 Ultra and shows the same visible aliasing when playing video games.
