Breaking: Samsung Galaxy S21 gets One UI 5.1 update

Just recently, Samsung started sending One UI 5.1 update to the Galaxy S22 series, and now, the users of the Galaxy S21 series can also enjoy the bells and whistles of the new iteration. Besides, the update brings the latest February 2023 Android security patches.

Samsung’s new One UI 5.1 update brings various new features and improvements to your Galaxy S21 series device. It also brings some under-the-hood improvements and minor tweaks derived from the recently launched Galaxy S23 series.

What’s new with One UI 5.1?

Samsung’s One UI 5.1 is also based Android 13 operating system. It comes with further improvements over the One UI 5.0. The new features of this release include enhancements to the Camera and Gallery apps with the ability to remaster and fine-tune photos saved on your phone.

In addition, you can now directly access the Expert RAW camera app (S21 Ultra only) directly from the native Camera application. For multitasking, there are some improvements such as corner drag to quickly enter or exit full-screen mode.

How to update:

Head towards the Settings menu, tap the Software update tab, followed by Download and install. Let your device connect to Samsung’s software server and find out the new build. If a new build is available for your device and CSC, follow the on-screen instructions and enjoy!
