Samsung recently kicked off One UI 5 Beta 3 for the Galaxy S22 series of smartphones, which brings several bug fixes. After installing, it seems that the latest One UI 5 beta update brings not only bug fixes but also a number of new bugs. At the moment, a new issue related to the object eraser feature has been detected on the Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphone running One UI 5 Beta 3.

According to the information, the Samsung object eraser feature of the photo editor is not working, even after performing the process. That means this feature is visible as before in the photo editor, we can also see the option to select the area for erasing, but even after selecting the one we want to delete, that area is not getting erased.

When you select any image in the Gallery app, the photo edit option comes. After clicking on it, you can see the object eraser feature on the Menu option (three dots at the bottom left corner). Click the Object Eraser feature and select any object you want to erase, then press Done. Now you can see that nothing has changed in the image because this feature is not working at all.

One UI 5 Object Eraser issue

Another thing noted is that the Labs option is missing in the photo editor which had 2 add-ons for Object Eraser – Shadow Eraser and Reflection Eraser. Maybe Samsung is working on the object eraser feature to make it better or shifting it, anything is possible. However, both these options are visible at the bottom after selecting the object eraser.

Solution

There is nothing to worry about as the beta community manager has also provided a solution for this issue. If you are facing this issue in your Galaxy S22 series smartphone, for a solution follow the steps given below.

  • Open the Settings app on your Galaxy smartphone.
  • Scroll down and tap on Apps.
  • Search keyboard eraser, and three apps appear.
    1. Object Eraser
    2. Reflection Eraser
    3. Shadow Eraser
  • Delete all these three apps by tapping on the app, then uninstall option.
  • Now, you can see that the object eraser is working properly.

Samsung’s latest Galaxy S22 series come with some significant improvements that most Galaxy users like in their cameras. We’re talking about pro-photography-level features that allow you to take some amazing photos, at least Samsung promises.

However, when reflections or dark shadows on the glass spoil your image, Samsung has a quick and easy solution to that problem. The new and updated Object Eraser with One UI 4.1 in the Galaxy S22 series allows you to eliminate these annoying issues with photos using a single button.

Samsung One UI 4.1 Object Eraser

Samsung One UI 4.1-based Object Eraser automatically brightens dark, shaded areas in a photo with a simple button press or press to erase shadows in the image more accurately. Similarly, the new “Erase Reflection” button can be used to reduce those annoying reflections with a single tab.

Samsung’s Object Eraser entered the Galaxy S21 last year and Samsung continued its development last year. Object Eraser is a tool found in the Samsung Gallery app on Galaxy phones that uses AI to make touching photos a smooth and free experience.

With the new update, Samsung features can give better competition to Google Magic Eraser. This means that whatever the best Android phone you have, you can easily touch up those photos with a few taps.

Disappointingly for a while, Samsung’s camera UI made some significant changes to the way to manage zoom and direct lens access in One UI 4.0. Now instead of the abstract tree icon, the app will let you know what zoom level the camera is set to when flat out.

It is easy to recap and avoids confusion and makes you wonder what each toggle actually changes when you want to change the lens, trim, or get a zoom shot.

However, as part of the Labs section, additional editing tools allow you to select any image object and apply similar effects to the context-awareness removal tool in Photoshop. “Object Eraser” allows you to remove specific parts or objects in the image with software that tries to adjust and replace selected objects.

Today, we will be presenting a new feature known as Object Eraser. This editing tool is one of the cool editions provided in One UI 3.1. However, it is used to delete people/objects from the background of the images.

Moreover, you can use this amazing tool by simply tapping on the person or object that you want to remove after that the smart AI functionality will do the rest.

But, if you find it difficult to remove the unwanted objects from the above short lines. Well, you can take help from the below-mentioned steps which are as follows.

Steps to use Object Eraser

  • Go to the Gallery and select the photo you want to edit.
